Madeline and the Bad Hat is an original musical based upon the much-loved Ludwig Bemelmans’s Madeline series. It traces the adventures of a young Parisian girl who – despite starting off on the wrong foot with a mischievous new neighbor – eventually learns that first impressions aren’t everything.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar
and
Other Eric Carle Favourites
Sunday, December 7, 2008
3 p.m., Clinton Central Schools Performing Arts Complex Theatre
Three wonderful Eric Carle favorites jump off the page and appear in black-light in this innovative presentation. Kids will be enchanted all over again by the wonderful story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar and his metamorphosis into a beautiful butterfly, the fanciful account of Little Cloud’s travels through the sky, and the Mixed Up Chameleon’s discovery of his own unique nature. These whimsical tales have enchanted several generations and the Mermaid Theater Company’s acclaimed stage adaptation brings these stories to life.
Unpredictable thrills, side-splitting comedy and daredevil stunts are the signature style of this fantastic duo from Montreal. Jean Saucier and Patrick Cote perform their distinctive style of humor, acrobatic tricks, daring feats, magic and eccentricity.
The Foolz are two performers: one outwardly calm, the other wound tighter than a spring. Dapper Dan and Woodhead seem to have a senseless innocence about them as they juggle everything from chairs and guitars to birdcages and rubber chickens. Their childlike charm permeates their world, placing them in situations where something almost always goes wrong.
