KIDS ART CLASSES
MINI MONET
Ages 4 and 5 (Students must be 4 by January 1, 2009, age requirement is strictly followed) Student will learn the basics in art such as cutting, pasting, shapes and colors, in a safe comfortable environment. Activities will include collage, sculpture, painting and drawing. This class will also help children with social interaction through group activities. Due to the same lesson plan each session, children may only enroll in ONE session each semester.
ARTBOX I & II
Ages 6 to 12 (age requirement is strictly followed)
Youngsters attend art classes for the entire morning, 9 to 11:30 a.m., providing them ample time to work on creative projects and to experience several areas of art. It also means that parents get a full Saturday morning every week to pursue their own interests.
Each ArtBox class is divided into two, seven-week sessions. One group meets with the drawing/painting instructors for the first seven weeks, while the other group attends the clay/sculptural media classes. At mid-semester, the groups exchange so that all students participate in each media. (Please supply your child with a snack each day).
*All ArtBox I and II students will meet in the School of Art Gallery for the first meeting on Saturday, January 24 at 9 a.m.
Materials fees are included in tuition for children's art classes. It is recommended that children bring an old shirt to wear as a smock in class.
