PHOTOGRAPHY AND DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY Photography Courses: It is strongly recommended that students have a 35mm camera for the photography courses. A workshop is available to MWPAI enrolled students on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at no extra charge.

BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOGRAPHY All Levels Time: Wednesday 7 to 10 pm  Period: September 3 through December 10 Designed for the beginner in photography, this course includes a complete introduction to the camera’s controls and uses, film developing, the art of making black and white prints, and techniques of taking better pictures. Classes combine lectures, lab work, critiques and a survey of the masters of fine art photography. Course Number: AA105-1  Instructor: Keith Sandman  Class Limit: 16  Lab Fee: $80  Tuition: $230 BLACK AND WHITE AND COLOR PHOTOGRAPHY All levels Time: Tuesday 7 to 10 pm  Period: September 2 through December 9 This course is designed for students wishing to learn the art of traditional black and white or color photography. An understanding of photography is developed through work in the darkroom and individual critiques. A working knowledge of the camera and its controls will be helpful. Course Number: AA105-2  Instructor: Keith Sandman  Class Limit: 14  Lab Fee: $90  Tuition: $230 BEGINNING DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY Beginners Time: Monday 6:30 to 9:30 pm  Period: September 8 through December 15 This course is designed to help those wishing to advance their interest in the art of photography through the use of their digital camera, and the digital darkroom. Topics will include: learning to use the camera controls, improving shooting skills, optimizing the image using Photoshop, and making quality enlargement using inkjet printers. Some computer experience is helpful, but not necessary. Students must have a digital camera.
